Support the BTA

As a non-profit organization, the Bicycle Transportation Alliance depends on the support of community members to get our work done.

Nationally recognized as one of the country's most effective and cutting-edge bicycling organizations, the BTA works to create healthy, sustainable communities by making bicycling safer, more convenient and more accessible.

Our advocacy, education, and promotion efforts have been opening minds and roads to bicycling since 1990.

Ways to Support the BTA

Join as a Member: Over 4,000 people support the BTA with their membership. Join the thousands of people who are voting with their dollars for more bike-friendly communities!  We have a variety of membership options to meet your needs.

Workplace Giving: If your company has a matching gift program, you can double your contribution to the BTA!

In addtion, you may be able to give to the BTA through payroll reductions if your employer offers a workplace giving campaign. Workplace giving is an easy, convenient way to support the BTA's important programs. The Bicycle Transportation Alliance is a proud member of Earth Share of Oregon (ESOR), a nonprofit organization that raises funds for Oregon-based environmental groups through workplace giving campaigns. Earth Share affiliation is a great way for the BTA to reach new audiences. And you can help us spread the word. If your company has an ESOR campaign, please encourage your coworkers to donate to the BTA. If your company doesn't have an ESOR campaign and you’d like to help get one started, please contact Kristie Perry at the BTA or Trudy Toliver at Earth Share Oregon. Find out more at earthshare-oregon.org.

Corporate Support: Over 250 businesses give to the BTA each year and are publicly recognized for those contributions.

Event and Program Sponsorship: Individuals, businesses, and government agencies can sponsor a variety of our programs and get their message out to key audiences.

Memorial Gifts: If someone you love has recently passed away, a memorial gift in their honor is a possible way of supporting what they cared about.

Special Occasions:  Do you have a birthday or holiday to acknowledge with support of the BTA? We'll work with you.

Planned Giving: Leave bike-friendly communities as part of your legacy.
